Today, I’m excited to share a charming reindeer amigurumi pattern with you! You may remember the Pikachu-shaped snowman pattern from the same designer that I introduced earlier. This reindeer pattern is a bit more advanced, making it perfect for intermediate to advanced crocheters. The toy consists of several pieces that come together beautifully, and the pattern includes many helpful visuals to guide you through the process.

One of the standout features of this reindeer is its detailed harness, which adds a unique touch to the design. While a 2.2mm crochet hook is recommended, the size may vary depending on your yarn choice.

    Reindeer Harness:

Using red we will crochet a chain with the number of stitches necessary to surround the indicated part of our Reindeer, this will depend on your crocheting tension and the thickness of your yarn, so these stitches are for reference and you can modify them according to your Reindeer. I recommend measuring the pieces on your Reindeer’s body as you go along.
    We will work in Rows.

    Piece (Neck contour)

Make 36 ch, and in the second chain from the crochet we will crochet
    1 to 2-35 sc (35) 2 rows
Leave a yarn to join the ends

    Piece 2 (Belly contour)

Make 51 ch, and in the second chain from the crochet we will crochet
    1 to 2-50 sc (50) 2 rows
Leave a yarn to join the ends

    Piece 3 x2 (Harness sides)

Make 11 ch, and in the second chain from the crochet we will crochet
    1 to 2-10 sc (10) 2 rows
Leave a yarn to join pieces 1 and 2

Sew the pieces to the reindeer body and paint gold dots around the harness or use yellow felt circles.
