    Hello friends! Today, I’m excited to share a Mini Plush Shrimp Amigurumi pattern. This adorable shrimp crochet toy is small in size, making it perfect for beginners. You can create this cute little shrimp using pink yarn or any color of your choice. The pattern is beginner-friendly, and you will need a 4.5mm crochet hook to make the toy. Please note that the final size may vary depending on the yarn you choose.

    For the eyes, you will need to use glue to attach them securely. The cheeks and tail are made with the same colored yarn, giving the shrimp a cohesive look.

    4.5 mm (7) crochet hook
    Yarn needle
    Fiberfill stuffing
    Glue for felt

    0.6″ Oval Black Felt or Safety Eyes

    Body

    Work in Cotton Candy
    Rnd 1: 6sc in a magic ring [6]
    Rnd 2: 6inc [12]
    Rnd 3: (1sc, 1inc) x6 [18]
    Rnd 4: 1sc, 1inc, (2sc, 1inc) x5, 1sc [24]
    Rnd 5-7(3 Rnds total): 1sc in each stitch [24]
    Change color to Coral
    Rnd 8: 1sc in each stitch [24]
    Rnd 9: 5sc, 1dec, 10sc, 1dec, 5sc [22]
    Rnd 10: 1sc in each stitch [22]
    Change color to Cotton Candy
    Rnd 11: (9sc, 1dec) x2 [20]
    Rnd 12: 1sc in each stitch [20]
    Rnd 13: 4sc, 1dec, 8sc, 1dec, 4sc [18]
    If you are using Safety Eyes, place them between rnds 6-7, leaving approx. 10 stitches between them.

    Body

    Change color to Coral
    Rnd 14: 1sc in each stitch [18]
    Rnd 15: (7sc, 1dec) x2 [16]
    Change color to Cotton Candy
    Rnd 16: 1Sc in each stitch [16]
    Rnd 17: 3sc, 1dec, 6sc, 1dec, 3sc [14]
    Start stuffing.
    Change color to Coral
    Rnd 18: (5sc, 1dec) x2 [12]
    Rnd 19: 6dec [6]
    Fasten off leaving a long tail. Stuff. Close the body passing the needle through the front loop of each of the stitches of the last round [6] and pull until closed.

    Tail

    Work in Coral, make 2.
    Rnd 1: Work inside a magic ring, 3dc, 4sc, 1tr, 4sc, close with 1slst in the second dc [18] Fasten off leaving a long tail.

    Assembly and Details

    Sew the Tails at the end of the Body.
    Place the Eyes in rnd 6, leaving approx. 10 stitches between them.
    Embroider the Blushes just below the eyes. Bend your Shrimp to give the final shape.
