• Yarn in red, white, black, and yellow
• 2 safety eyes
• 6.00 mm crochet hook
• Fiberfill stuffing

Head & body

Using orange or gray yarn (head):
Round 1: MR, 6 sc in ring (6)
Round 2: Inc in each st around (12)
Round 3: (Sc, inc) around (18)

Rounds 6-10: sc in each st around (30) [5 rounds]

Collar accessory

Ear

Start with color of yarn you used for the head

FO and leave a tail to sew onto head. If you are making a santa hat, you only need one ear. If you are not making a santa hat, make two ears.

Hat

Start with red yarn
Round 1: MR, 6 sc in ring (6)
Round 2: Sc around (6)
Round 3: Inc around (12)
Round 4: (1 sc, inc) around (18)
Round 5: (2 sc, inc) around (24)
Change to white yarn
Round 6: In FLO, st around (24)
FO and leave a tail to sew onto head.

Top of hat poof

Using white yarn
Round 1: MR, 4 sc in ring (4)
Sl st and FO, leaving a tail to sew onto the top of the hat

Assembly

1. Wrap the collar around the bottom of the head (neck). Sew the ends of the collar to each other
2. Sew the ear to one side of the head 3. Sew the hat poof to the point at the top of the hat.
4. Sew the hat to the other side of the head (opposite of ear).
5. Sew the arms on either side of body (approximately row 15)
6. Sew the legs on either side of the body, underneath the belt (rows of black)
7. Using yellow yarn, sew in the shape of a square onto the rows of black to look like a belt.
